What We Do

Worship
We desire genuine adoration or true worship that:
1. Glorifies God
2. Edifies the body of Christ (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16)
3. Magnifies the message of salvation through Christ alone (1 Corinthians 14:24-25)

• Reformed worship is God-centered and governed by the biblical guidelines given to us through scripture alone. In our worship, we seek to be connected to the best of the past without becoming idolatrous of the past (i.e., traditional, not traditionalism), contextualized in the present without allowing pop-culture to dictate our approach to worship, and establishing worship that sets a standard for the future.

• Drawing from all the bounty that God has given to His church, from the rich musical and liturgical traditions that have come down to us from our past to the exciting new movements of God today, enables us to set a worship “feast” or “banquet” before the people of God–a well-balanced “meal” to strengthen the body of Christ and keep her healthy spiritually.

Bible Study

Sunday School 9:30 am each Lord’s Day

Men’s Group
“Landing Point” meets weekly at the church on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 PM. This is a time for men to gather and grow in the “grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.” “Landing Point” is a safe place for men to connect with men from the church and the community.

Prayer
New in 2011 we will gather at the church, Wednesday evening each week for prayer (time to be announced)

Women’s Studies
Women of Grace provide two opportunities to meet together and study the life changing truths of the redeeming work of Jesus Christ:

• A monthy study that alternates between Bible study and book study

• A biweekly book study that meets in the Towne Lake area

Home Groups
In addition to gathering together for worship, we also gather together in one another’s homes throughout the week. Gathering in smaller home groups allows us to build relationships, get connected to one another and be involved in the lives of people at Grace.
It’s at a home group that you’ll be able to build friendships that last a lifetime. It’s at a home group that you’ll have the chance to share your thoughts and ask questions and discuss life. If you have needs or concerns, it’s likely to be your home group that learns about them first, and is the first to respond.
We truly do believe that connection with others in a smaller group and the relationships which form as a result are essential for our spiritual growth and health as Christians. So, we don’t regard our home groups as just another ministry from which to choose at Grace. Grace is not a church with home groups. We are a church of home groups desiring to reach Cherokee County with the Gospel of Christ.
